Think of vinyl decals as "stickers" that are cut to the shape of the image or pattern. There are no borders and very much thinner than conventional paperback stickers. They are made of plastics and are so thin they are usually referred to as adhesive films. Stickers are usually paper based and very often printed and are several times thicker than our vinyl decals. Depending on print quality, they can be very expensive and fade resistant or very cheap and fades quickly. The material of vinyl decals from My Decal World have the colour of your choice as the material therefore has far superior fade resistance compared to printed stickers and other lower quality decals. They are also so thin when applied, it is hard to tell apart whether is it painted or applied until you start scratching the edges. Another property of vinyl decals is that they are made of plastics. They do not absorb water moisture from the air. Paper stickers on the other hand will absorb water moisture and hardly last more than a year before starting to fade and start peeling from the edges even if you did not touch them. Anywhere! As long as the surface is non-porous and preferably (but not necessary) flat.
